You have heard us say how vital price point is to demand and sales volume. Homes priced under $500k are selling far quicker than homes priced above this range and for more of a percentage of the asking price. This is true except for one price range….$800k-$1million price points are beginning to see signs of life with a recent almost 3% price gain in appreciation.

Recent price per square foot range of homes sold in 2016 from $500k to $1million were averaging from $176/sqft to $227/sqft. There are some key things you must consider when selling in the two areas.
